The MIT Enterprise Forum®, Inc. was created to promote and support
innovative and technologically oriented companies. The Forum was initiated
by the MIT Alumni Association (Cambridge, MA chapter) over 20 years ago; that
chapter alone has helped over 1000 companies attract resources and build
growth-related expertise. Today, nearly 25 chapters in the U.S. and
overseas offer membership and program participation to MIT alumni, non-MIT
alumni, friends of MIT, local business executives and entrepreneurs.
Throughout the network, the Forum maintains its strong commitment to
presenting educational programs for the entrepreneurial community.
Locally, many organizations and individuals contribute to the Great
Lakes MIT Enterprise Forum’s successful and innovative programs. With
linkages to nearly twenty parallel organizations with complementary goals,
MITEFGL is able to bridge between various communities and locales, while
bringing national expertise into the local area. From satellite broadcasts
to local panel discussion and business case competitions, MITEFGL is able
to educate entrepreneurs and help them meet the investing and management
communities required to grow their businesses. |
